Whitney's Burial, Strictly By Invitation.

Invitation only. Thousands of fans were left disappointed when they found out a public memorial will not take place at Newark's Prudential Centre

Thousands of fans left disappointed as Whitney Houston's family decided on private invitation-only funeral for 300 people in Newark church.  At first it was thought that a public memorial service would take place at Newark's Prudential Centre - which seats up to 19,000 people - but the family announced today that they are keeping it to themselves. There will be no public wake either.

Whitney will be buried on Saturday at noon in New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, where her singing talent was first discovered as a child.
